Sizzle Pie, right across from Powell's, has become our go-to for a quick, delicious lunch or dinner in PDX. The tiny pizza parlor reliably serves solid, creative slices - I usually try the rotating selection of white (no red sauce) pizzas. You can buy pizza by the slice or the whole pie, and everything is served freshly heated from the oven. One (large) slice is filling enough for me, and you can also order an extra half slice if you're still hungry. There is limited seating indoors , but we usually grab our slices to-go.
Garlic knots and a slice of pizza need I say more!?!? So dang good and the sauce options for the knots, make sure to try the Caramelized onion dip. Holy moly so good!! And the staff were super friendly. Located right next to the amazing bookstore
You want some great pizza tough guy? Go to sizzle pie! One of the best pizza joints in the Pacific Northwest, hands up hands down! The crust, the sauce, the cheese is all spot on. Consistency in the pie is key and it's always been consistent when I've gone. Slices or whole pies. I go to PD once or twice a year and sizzle is always spot on consistently good. It's pizza for cry'n out loud! They do one thing and do it proper. Most cannot like pizza slut, gross as can be but that's another review or not. Just don't go there. The music in sizzle is punk rock, like it or not. The neighborhood is whacked, like it or not. You may see naked freakers walking around. It's part of the ambience. But that's Portland and a different review. Like it or not. The hours of closure/late night may be different at sizzle due to the freaker situation, like it or not. The Pizza at sizzle, what this and they are all about is the Best! You want great pizza Tough guy! Go to Sizzle pie.
I have been to Powell's several times when visiting Portland and am always tempted to try the pizza at Sizzle Pie. So glad we finally did! Exceptionally tasty slices. Hot, delicious, and perfect for walking around town. Super helpful employees and fun spot.
Sizzle pie had great flavor & the shop is very unique . I always also love a good pizza by the slice shop so you could potentially try multiple flavors. Some flavors are a bit different and might be to everyone's liking but you can never go wrong with a simple cheese slice. Customer service was really helpful and was able to help guide if I had any questions. I would give them a shot if you are looking for a quick bite to eat
Walked by this place and thought it was cool that they offer half-slice pizzas, which is perfect for those with smaller stomach space or anyone looking for a quick snack that won't be too filling. Tried it and it was delicious! Great option if you're on the go and want just a taste.
Very good pizza and they also have a bar that's adjacent to it that grabs food from there also Inside they just serve beer The pizza was AMAZING but because it's so thin, it gets hard / crunchy really quickly , so if you like soft crust ... this ain't it lol
I love the food at Sizzle Pie and wish they still had a location in Eugene. The meal deals really can't be beat. We got 2 slices of pizza (split in half to give 4 small slices), a salad, and drinks for only $18! Their topping selection is great and the salad toppings were impressive for a pizza place! A great spot for sharing lunch.
